Dipterists Digest special

Congratulations on that labour of love, Peter.
I picked it up expecting something rather dry but it's packed with all sorts of interesting bits and pieces, I especially liked the diaries.
Off for some tiffin at my club now ...

Re: Dipterists Digest special

Yes it's a marvellous thing and I think Peter Chandler should be lauded for what must have taken months, if not years, to put it together in such detail. There is so much wonderful stuff in there, not least the "Exonerated by dying man" newspaper account of Yerbury's demise (and the wonderfully named coroner (Ingleby Oddie (wonder if he is related to Bill?), and the county / regional / country assessments etc. An incredible compendium of two incredible dipterist's lives.

Fabulous stuff!
