Diptera for ID help please.

I photographed this insect on a gatepost at Black Park nature reserve in Buckinghamshire .It was about 10mm in length , unfortunately this is the only angle i got ,before it flew off. Can anyone help with an ID please?

Not really enough detail to be sure. I'd go with Anthomyiidae, and probably Delia, but that's as far as I'd go.
