Entomological cabinet in auction

If I tell the tale afterwards about how I saw this in an auction viewing I'll be asked why I didn't mention it in time. These things crop up very rarely.
Outside of the AES exhibition I've only ever seen one in a second hand furniture shop, one in a bookshop repurposed for documents and this one repurposed to hold drawing instruments.
Lot 575 at https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auct … srdav10031 looks to be in decent condition (it's a Watkins and Doncaster) but the glass is missing from one or two lids and the drawers would need relining with plastazote. £300 to £500 and you will have to get your online bid in very quickly as the auction is tomorrow. I can probably assist with logistics & restoration if you go for it.

Re: Entomological cabinet in auction

Sorry for posting this on here but I am selling my 10 drawer Hills cabinet as I no longer require it for storage. All drawers lined with plastazote.

If anyone is interested, please email me at agromyzidaers@gmail.com
