The Society for the study of flies (Diptera)

I have made a few changes to the Diptera checklist on this site:
- fixed a problem with Empis grisea which, for some reason, was listed as a Tephritid!
- fixed issues with the display of accented characters in authority names
- the species which link to a distribution map on the NBN Gateway have been updated. There are now records on the Gateway for around 5,600 species of Diptera.
- the updates to the checklist, which have been published in Dipterists Digest, are now available for download (as PDF files). If you go to the checklists's introductory page you will now see all the published updates listed (not just the ones that have been applied to the online version of the checklist) and each has a download link. (Thanks to Peter Chandler for supplying the updates.)
