Degreasing specimens

The Dipterists Handbook refers to 2-ethoxyethanol as a degreasing agent.  Trade name for this appears to be Cellosolve.  I have not found a supplier of that online.  Where can I obtain small quantities?

Toluene is also described as a degreasing agent on the web.  Can I use that instead of Cellosolve?  Does the specimen similarly need a subsequent soak in ethyl acetate?
