Training events

Stuart and I have been running hoverfly identification courses for many years now.  We have recently acquired a camera microscope courtesy of OPAL, and will be buying a set of microscopes this summer. So, we will be independent of venues that have access to microscopes and should be able to take fly identifaction to more far-flung places. We run two courses:

Introduction to Hoverflies
Introduction to Flies

Re: Training events

John and I could offer the same course 'Introduction to Flies' or another course called 'The Importance of being labelled'. We have taught both courses for a few years now. The latter is about how to preserve, label and curate the major groups of insects and is a one day course.

We could offer these two courses in late winter or early spring and would also like to hear from you via our email below the photo.
