Swallow diet project

Hello

For the last three years I've been conducting a study in my spare time on swallows breeding at a riding stables in Cardiff. This year I would like to look into the diet of the nestlings and compare this with what is available in the surrounding habitat. However, I lack the entomological skills for this and wondered if there where any forum members that would be interested in a joint study on this subject?

Regards

Richard

Re: Swallow diet project

Hello Richard, I have sent an e-mail but it has not got through. I have been analysing bat droppings for local bat groups since '98 and feel sure I could help you with the entomology. In fact in a slack period I did investigate swallow and have results fo 5 weeks in June '01 until the nestlings fledged. Perhaps you would like to tell me more about your project.
