Ceratopogonidae pupa perhaps

I found several dozen of these pupae today in the birdbath in our garden.   Hanging slightly off vertical by pupal horns from the surface.  Can anyone confirm these are Ceratopogonidae?  Some have hatched and I will have a go at iding the adults later.

Yes, I think so Colin. I can't put pics up here so I'll mail you some. My pupae hatched into Dasyhelea sp.  A male hatched and I'll do a gen prep soon.       John Kramer
