Small patterned wing fly

Apologies for this poor photograph, but wonder if anybody has any idea of the identify of this small fly with a quite distinctive wing pattern.  Size only about 3mm, swept from ragwort flowers in early August in Oxford

Re: Small patterned wing fly

Please, check for Pherbellia nana (Sciomyzidae).

Greetings,
Stephane.

Re: Small patterned wing fly

Thank-you, Stephane.  When I check again, it is indeed Pherbellia nana! So much smaller than all the other Sciomyzids I have seen.

Re: Small patterned wing fly

Of etymological interest 'nana' implies dwarfed.
