Hybotidae ID possible?

Pictures taken in haste a couple of days ago, of a congregation of several flies that look like Hybotidae to me.
At least 2, possibly 3 individuals, one caught accidentally in flight.
Around 5 mm long.
Having skimmed through the gallery images on Dipterist's Info, the only good likeness I can find is for
Leptopeza flavipes female.
On the other hand, if microscopic details are required, then none of these photos cut the mustard.

Re: Hybotidae ID possible?

Thanks Dave.
I did wonder about Ocydromia glabricula female, but my impression is that it has a more bulbous abdomen, with a more pointed apex. But I'm only guessing from the appearance of a few photos on Dipterists Info, which are not taken from the same angle as any of mine.

Re: Hybotidae ID possible?

The shape of the antenna is a key feature distinguishing Ocydromia from the others.

Re: Hybotidae ID possible?

In which case, and based on not very informative mages on Dipterists Info, it does look as though my example complies better with Ocydromia, rather than the species I suggested.

It's a pity there aren't better images round.
