Dipterists Forum Field Meetings

This is just a reminder that if you are still thinking about attending one of the excellent DF field meetings, then you need to get busy and contact Roger with your booking and payment.

We are really very welcoming to new attendees to such trips.  Roger arranges group access to some wonderful sites that you could not get to easily as just a casual visitor.  Not least are the socialising and networking opportunities such meetings allow - great opportunities to talk flies with like minded individuals.

The last meeting of this year is the Autumn meeting in which the focus is on late emerging flies such as fungus gnats, platypezids and craneflies plus anything else we can catch! Dates as follows, but note that attendance for part of the time is also possible:

9-16 October 2010, DF Autumn Field Meeting.  Devon/Somerset. Accommodation in guest houses.  Contact Roger Morris (7 Vine Street, Stamford, Lincolnshire roger.morris@dsl.pipex.com).
