Birmingham and Midland Institute

A potential meeting place for conferences, it describes itself as an Art, Science and Conference Centre.
Website at http://bmi.org.uk/
Currently the cost of a meeting room is £115 for the day, £85 for part. Conference rooms/lecture theatres range from £230 up to £300.
From an old brochure I just found I discover that by becoming affiliated a discount on those fees may be obtained 25% daytime or 35% evening (1998 brochure now binned)

Re: Birmingham and Midland Institute

Yes, I've been too a goodly few meetings there. It's not a bad venue, a little tatty, but really quite adequate for most needs.
