It may be that they thought they were asked for a picture of a 'green fly' instead of a 'greenfly'  roll
At the risk of re-igniting the scientific/english names debate perhaps if the journalist had asked the Picture Library for a picture of an Aphid they would not have send a picture of a Doli.
